COD Black Ops: Cold War's Campaign is interesting, and the setting of the Cold War in the 80's is cool. Being able to play arcade games during a mission is pretty funny, but the game has a pretty short campaign. Maybe I just haven't played enough of the COD games, but 10 missions for 60/70 bucks is definitely not worth the money.
The multiplayer is very, very similar to COD WWII, however. I mean so close, it might be the same but with better guns and graphics. It's very bland and not worth even $40 to me. People are super good at it, because its the same game as the other ones. If you have Modern Warfare, don't buy Cold War. It's basically the same with more maps. I don't know, get it if you're into that stuff. Out of the 9 or so maps, at least two of them are garbage, and one of the others is sniper central.
Now, what is worth it is the zombies mode. My friends and I are enjoying it a lot, but the big downfall is the fact that there's only one map right now. I have the layout memorized by now, and it's starting to get boring. The zeds have pretty nice designs, but I'm not sure if it's anything new. The perks are cool, the ammo mods are also cool, and the story for the mode is pretty standard, but a little cool. Overall, zombies mode good.
All in all, the new COD is not worth the $70 (if you want to be able to play on next-gen and current gen consoles) Unless you want to pay that money for just a short campaign, good zombies mode, and 9 new maps, then DO NOT BUY. I give CODBOCW a 2 impossible kills out of 5.
TL;DR Cold War is basically the same as the other ones. (Big Surprise)
